It’s Time to Say Goodbye, but I Think Goodbyes Are Sad and I’d Much Rather Say Hello. Hello to a New Adventure – Ernie Harwell

I truly believe that inspiration never dies. When kindness, love, or wisdom touches us in some way, the memories live on in our hearts forever.

As human beings, we are forced to say goodbye to many things. We experience the death of loved ones, family or friends can move away, and other positive parts of our lives can seemingly vanish before our very eyes. The truth of the matter is, however, that just because something may seem out of reach, does not mean that the happiness or joy that came along with the experience, is gone forever.

Let us look at the loss of a loved one, for example. Just because that individual may not be tangibly with us anymore, that does not mean that all the good they have brought into our lives is forever erased. The love, respect, and inspiration that they placed into the world is still here, guiding us down a path of good and well-being.

Change, especially when loss is involved, can be a very difficult thing to handle. It can be hard to see any good in the fact that something positive is coming to an end. Like inspiration and love, though, true positivity cannot die, but rather it continues to prosper in those of us who choose to keep it alive.

So if you see yourself losing someone or something special to you, please remember this: that nothing – absolutely nothing – can erase the positive experiences, lessons, and moments that this person or thing has brought into your life. Use the loss that occurs to fuel the good inside of you – to support others as you have been supported throughout the years.
